Mana

The Mana's and their Limits

Mana is the term of the types of magic in the RPG. There are 6 total mana Body, Spirit, Alacrity, Power, Meta, Anima. Unlike last time where the extent of the magic was limited only by your imagination, magic this time has a defined upper limit in what it can do. The roof is much lower then usual and by that I mean one character cannot win a war, he cannot conquer a country by themselves, and that is much more for smaller scale combat. It's been changed from a nuke to a pistol respectively. The mana's breakdown as such:

Body Mana: The power over the body. Its innate gift to the Gondols who are born of the Body mana is to grant greater lift spans, provide better conditioning, and to toughen the body. At its lowest level it is used to increase stamina and endurance. As the person grows and becomes more adept with the magic they can use it to expediate the healing of wounds. At its highest level the Body mana can be used to project shields and barriers of pure Body mana around their person.

Spirit Mana: The power to communicate with and borrow power from the denizens of the Astral Plane. Its innate gift to the Eidolons who are born of the Spirit mana is a strong tie to the Astral Plane even going as far as to subconsciously derive knowledge from it allowing them to quickly learn new things. It also grants them the ability to communicate with the creatures that live in the Astral Plane and borrow their powers. At the lowest level it allows the communication with low level spirits and only a subconscious link to the Astral Plane. As the person grows and becomes more adept with the magic they can begin to communicate and evoke the power of more powerful spirits and the user begins to be able to derive more and more knowledge from the Astral Plane. At its highest level the user can evoke the power of multiple spirits and they can experience the entire Astral Plane.

Alacrity Mana: The power over the mind. Its innate gift to the Allows who are born of the Alacrity mana is to grant greater reflexes, to perceive the world in an extra sensory manner, and brief glimpses of the future. At its lowest level it is used to boost reflexes, to briefly see the near future, and low level empathic abilities. As the person grows and becomes more adept with the magic they can use it to read surface thoughts of their opponents, the ability to plan suggestions in the opponents mind, and to see further into the future. At its highest level it is used to read the opponents mind, increase their reflexes to superhuman capabilities, see years into the future, affect opponent's minds, and to experience the outer edges of the Astral Plane.

Power Mana: The power over physical strength. Its innate gift to the Adaz who are born of the Power mana is to grant incredibly strength. At its lowest level it is used to boost physical power of the user or those around him and to very crudely focus it. As the person grows and becomes more adept with the magic they can use it to drain others of the Power mana and to focus it more competently to increase the destructiveness of their attacks. At its highest level the user can emit pure Power mana from their body in a multitude of destructive ways.

Meta Mana: The power to override the laws of nature. Its innate gift to the Fremm who are born of the Meta mana is an ability to think tactical and skillfully and an affinity for transfigurations. At its lowest level it is used to shapeshift into simplistic objects and to animate simple non-living objects. As the person grows and becomes more adept with the magic they can begins cursing and enchanting objects, transfigure themselves and other things into complex forms, and animate complex non-living objects. At its highest level the user can manipulate multiple elements and the manipulation lasts for much longer and at times, for the truly strong, can be permanent. In order to manipulate the element must already be present. Anima users cannot conjure the elements from nothingness.
